The Prince of Wales Brunch — 2026
The St. George’s Society of Baltimore is pleased to host the 2026 Prince of Wales Brunch on Sunday, February 1, at 11:30 a.m., at the Engineers Club overlooking Mount Vernon Place.
This year’s program will feature an address entitled “The American Revolution and the Fate of the World,” presented by Richard Bell, Ph.D., Professor of History at the University of Maryland and an award-winning historian and author. Dr. Bell’s most recent book on this subject was published by Penguin in November 2025.
The Prince of Wales Brunch is a longstanding Society tradition, offering members and guests the opportunity to gather for fellowship, thoughtful conversation, and an engaging historical perspective in one of Baltimore’s most distinguished settings. Spouses and guests are most welcome.

The Prince of Wales Brunch features distinguished speakers on topics related to Great Britain, the British Royal Family, and Anglo-American affairs. This annual gathering blends fellowship with thoughtful conversation, celebrating our shared cultural heritage.

Past programs have explored the lives and legacies of Winston Churchill, Charles, The Prince of Wales, and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, as well as the enduring influence of Gertrude Jekyll and Sir Edwin Lutyens on the design and gardens of the British Embassy in Washington, D.C.
