Who are you?
Hello my name is Jeffrey “Scott” Watkins like many members of SGSB I have a varied background. For the past 25 years my career has been in marketing and public relations along with being SAG-AFTRA film actor and voiceover artist. Some of the marketing-public relations clients I have served were in banking, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, automotive, hospitality, media, legal and institutional vertical markets. In film, television and voiceover, a few credits include: Gods and Generals, First Landing, House of Cards, Discoveries of Israel, The Island of the Mammoth, History in the Hood along with many industrial films, commercials- radio/ TV and print. Since 2013, I have created and produced public events for the hereditary community two of which presented gifts that I designed and managed and are now displayed in the Royal Collection and the Vatican Museum.
What do you like about SGSB?
I am honored and pleased to be the Chairman of the St. George’s Polo Cup for the past 8 years. A native Baltimorean and anglophile, I had been aware of the St. George’s Society through my involvement in other hereditary organizations. It was past president Daniel Fisher who sponsored me for membership in 2018.
]Along with the St. George’s Polo Cup and the charities it supports is the opportunity to meet and build friendships with people who have similar interest in Anglo-American culture and history. Through membership, each event from the Prince of Wales Brunch- Speakers Series, Trafalgar Night to the St. George’s Day Dinner offers a colorful, unique and stimulating experience. It’s like being in a movie!
